I was born and raised in Stayton. Growing up, I went to St. Mary’s and attended Immaculate Conception Church, where I received all my sacraments. I married my husband 28 years ago at Immaculate Conception, moved to Tennessee, Washington, and ended up back home. We have three children, each receiving their sacraments at Immaculate. The three kids and my husband also graduated from St. Mary’s and Regis.

Growing up in this community, I realized that this small town surrounding us here at Immaculate is humble with its stories, knowledge, and acts of generosity. Our community is a gift to so many.   For seven years now, I have been the secretary at our Church in my hometown. Before then, I chose to stay home and raise our family. As the kids got older, I worked at St. Mary’s and Regis before coming to Immaculate Conception. I am so grateful because I truly have the best job ever. Being the parish secretary is my perfect job that combines my love of working with people and my Catholic faith. I am truly learning something new regularly about my faith. One of the many blessings of this job is that I can walk into the Church any time of the day! I love the beauty of the Mass and that we get to receive the body and blood of Christ.
