Immaculate Conception Catholic Church

First Reconciliation and First Communion

Sacramental Preparation

First Communion

Baptism is the entrance and the gateway into the life of Christ. The person who is baptized has put on Christ and needs to continue to nourish the life of Christ throughout his/her entire life until that life is lived with God in eternity.

Children who received baptism as infants or were very young (before the age of seven or eight) begin the nourishment of Christ's life around the time of second grade. This preparation includes the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.
