Volunteer Opportunities

Church Cleaning

Our parish is divided into five circles with each family assigned to one. These five circles make up the Altar Society. The purpose of the Altar Society is to participate in the upkeep of the sanctuary and the interior of the church. Each month on a rotating basis one circle is in charge of cleaning the church. Twice a year—Easter and Christmas—all parishioners are asked to help with a general church cleaning.

Call the Parish Office at 503-769-2656 with your current phone numbers so you too can be a member of a circle!

Flower Decorations

A talented group of parishioners uses their creativity to provide beautiful floral arrangements and decorations that accent our church environment for each of the liturgical seasons.

To learn more or to volunteer for this ministry, please contact the Parish Office at 503-769-2656.

Linen

Training is provided on how to care for these special linens that contain the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.  This ministry is made up of teams who, behind the scenes in their own homes, reverently launder and care for the purificators and corporals used on the altar at Mass.

Please contact 503-769-2656 for more information.

St. Martha Ministry

The St. Martha Ministry team coordinates and serves funeral luncheons for grieving families. They are supported with food dishes from the Altar Society groups.

Call the Parish Office at 503-769-2656 with your current phone numbers so you too can be a member of a circle!
